Built between
environmental preservation areas extending from the
south and spreading along the Black Sea, New Istanbul
will be connected to its region and the world by an
integrated rail, road, canal, and air transportation
system. Extending its length, three crescent-shaped
parks will form Ataturk Park, designed to rival
Manhattan’s Central Park, London’s Green Park, and the
grounds of
Tokyo’s Imperial Palace – New Istanbul’s signature
public space
